case studies: Pi Group
CDA has worked with Pi Research almost from its inception in 1987. The Pi Research Black Box was the first electronic dash display and combined data logger to be used in professional motor sport. In 2004, Cosworth and Pi Research were sold by Ford, and the Cosworth Group of companies was formed (Pi is now Cosworth Electronics), and its market-leading position in automotive electronics is being extended into marine and aeronautical applications.
Pi supplies data acquisition and performance analysis equipment to every formula in motorsport – from F1 and Indy to Go karts and Superbike racing – as well as to volume car and truck manufacturers.
We have written, designed and illustrated numerous manuals for Pi’s leading-edge hardware and software products. CDA has also supplied exhibition material and online Help systems.
In addition, CDA has acted as print manager for more than 70 publications – keeping issues up-to-date and available for 'on-demand' printing.
Client benefits :: Trouble-free outsourcing
CDA maintains a digital archive of Pi User Guides, Reference Manuals and Application Notes to enable 'just in time' ordering and low inventory levels.
We have also worked closely with Pi's own authors and provide publication and writing services whenever needed.
